Since I began playing professionally (age 14), the music industry has gone through some radical changes. From metal to country to soul to R & B, to swing, and yes even some hip hop (don’t tell Dana), I have come to appreciate many different styles of music.

Until I joined Stormy in 1995, I had not had the vehicle by which to explore the performance of these different genres. There is so much experience exhibited on the stage when the 8 of us get together, that there are very few, if any, types of music we can’t play. Remember everything you hear (mistakes and all) is LIVE. There are no computers, click tracks, pitch correction, or any unnatural enhancements. Everyone on stage is actually playing their instruments and singing their lead vocals and harmonies.

People comment frequently about the variety of music they hear at a Stormy performance. I always come back to my tried and true response, “I don’t have just one station on my radio in my car. If I don’t like something, I change the channel.” Stormy is like that. You WILL like something, if not everything we play.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank my wife, Dianne and my family for their patience as I indulge in my lifelong passion.

It is a pleasure to perform for you, the patrons.

Thanks to all of you for supporting LIVE music.
